Puccinis
The spacious room was filled with a welcoming presence as I stepped through the door into Puccinis Italian Restaurant. There was a delightful orangy glow like a fiery sunset. As I wandered around the restaurant I was awestruck by how they had neatly positioned the dining area.
After a short look around – we all sat politely on the black, comfy chairs; eagerly awaiting our mystery waitress – Marta. She was smartly dressed in an appropriate uniform wearing a white apron. Her hair was nicely put up into a lovely ponytail which made her appearance; ingenious.
Marta answered all of our questions and she obviously had a thorough understanding of the restaurant and Italian food.
Soft Italian music gently played in the background while the delicious foods were presented formally on beautiful plates.
I really enjoyed the cuisine; Puccinis Restaurant is the best place to eat!

Dining at Puccinis
Last week our class went to Puccinis restaurant for a fantastic meal for our class. Inside the restaurant it was very stylish with a warm colourful atmosphere and beautifully laid out tables. We were welcomed by polite, friendly staff who showed us to our table with smiles on their faces.
As we sat down, waiting for our starters, Marta talked to us about the ingredients used in Italian cooking and answered our many questions. We were also able to watch the chefs cooking which was amazing.
We tucked in to our starters and were left waiting for our main courses feeling excited. We did not wait long - the pizzas were delicious, there were so many different types and the bolognaise had such a creamy sauce.
The surprise at the end of the meal was fantastic - an indoor firework and a chocolate - it really was amazing!
Thank you to the staff (especially Marta) for letting us experience a meal in Puccinis. It was fantastic!

Puccinis Review
Last Monday, year 6 went to Puccinis and a wonderful scent of food drifted around the restaurant. As I walked in, I was welcomed by a waitress and was led to a table which was beautifully laid out. Looking around the restaurant, there were many stunning paintings that matched the colour scheme of the restaurant.
In an Open Kitchen the chefs were cooking with the freshest of ingredients, the smell of the pizza mixed with the herbs used in the delicious pasta sauces. The smell of the Carbonara made everyone’s mouth open and go all watery.
All the food was swiftly served for everyone – 30 children and five adults! Puccinis has an excellent standard of Italian food and a five star service.
There are several special offers including “Eat Free On Your Birthday!” and “Under 12s Eat Free Between 5:30 and 6:30.”
There is also a small bar area and an outdoor al fresco dining area.

Dining at Puccinis
Last Monday our class went to Puccinis for a posh meal. Inside the restaurant it was very stylish with some calm and peaceful colours. The interior is stunning and takes your breath away. All the polite staff welcomed us with cheerful faces, as we entered we smelt the aroma from the Italian herbs coming towards our faces from the Open Kitchen.
Our teacher had prepared a booklet with small assignments for us to complete during our visit and afterwards to help us reflect upon our experiences. We had to find out things like who Puccinis was named after - I discovered that Puccini was a composer of Operas. Back in class, miss played us some of his operas and I think he is a good Italian composer.
One of our teachers ordered pizza and when her pizza arrived she was shocked - it was huge! (But she did eat it all!)
With our meal, we had a soft drink then water and I tried lots of dishes. My favourites were Calamari, spaghetti bolognaise and pizza.
Half way through our meal, I was fortunate to be able to view the action in the Open Kitchen and not only that I was invited to look at the fridge and freezer; I was amazed at the high standards of cleanliness.
We ate and ate - it was delicious!
If you want to try the delicious food you can now visit Puccinis at Bedford Place in town as well as the Shirley restaurant.

Dining at Puccinis
A welcoming aroma pulled me into the light, airy restaurant -Puccinis. Our class sat down into the serene atmosphere and were greeted by a polite waitress, Marta.
The warm, orange glow filled me with joy as the starters were presented to us on our beautifully decorated table. The soothing background music took me away with the fairies, as I slowly took my first bite of garlic pizza.
The cheesy, oily topping and the soft base were delicious. I also tried sausage wrapped in bacon which was crispy but ALL the food was magnificent. Soon after our drinks arrived, bubbling coke.
Then our tasty main course - delicious pizza and pastas, everyone was soon quiet as they concentrated on eating.
After everyone finished we asked the lovely staff especially Marta lots of questions. The staff gave us an amazing surprise - an indoor firework show!
Hopefully, I will be able to go to Puccinis again as I enjoyed the food, the great service and their high standards.

Pasta & Pizza at Puccinis by Emma
Puccinis is an Italian restaurant near the end of Shirley High Street and is a popular eating place for the locals. Year 6 had the pleasure of dining at Puccinis on the 9th June.
As I walked through the entrance the aroma-therapy awoke my senses. The restaurant has a big, orange sparkly glow and staff that are fast on their feet. Music plays softly in the background and is very calm and relaxing which makes the room fill with happy smiles.
The tables have pretty balloons and the flowers and napkins are colour co-ordinated to match the décor of the restaurant.
Puccinis has an Open Kitchen which enables you to see what the chef is doing and it is really entertaining to watch the chefs cook! There is a Specials Board with dishes that change weekly but Puccinis is well know for it’s Special Offers like ‘Eat Free On Your Birthday!” and “Under 12s Eat Free Between 5:30 and 6:30.”
Puccinis serve a high standard of Italian Food and the experience of eating there is very special. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu and all cooked with the freshest ingredients. Fabulous food and a fantastic service!

Puccinis
As a celebration after Sats we went to an Italian restaurant and wrote restaurant reviews afterwards.
It was fabulous and I am really pleased with their writing. The Restaurant unit was a great success and throughly enjoyable - the class did a short assembly last Friday to share with the school.
